Last Sunday was a good day for a car show, even though morning clouds accompanied by a threat of rain kept some owners from bringing their vehicles, the show promoters said. But not a drop fell, and more than 90 cars were on display throughout the day at the Hovey Motorcars lot on San Pedro Avenue for the annual show, whose profits were channeled to the Blood 'N' Fire ministries' efforts to provide needy San Antonio children with shoes for the school year.
